Sunny Side Comedy Fun Launches New Website Announcing Six Comedy Films for 2027 and 2028

Comedy collective builds an audience on social media before producing six ultra-low-budget feature films.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SUNNY SIDE COMEDY FUN today announced the launch of its new website, SUNNYSIDECOMEDYFUN.COM, created to build an audience for its continuing production of original comedy videos and to introduce six 70-minute comedy fantasy films currently in development for release in 2027 and 2028.

SUNNY SIDE COMEDY FUN currently produces and distributes 15 original comedy videos every week across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook. The six feature films will grow out of the characters and comedy series already being developed and distributed online.

The strategy is straightforward: build the audience first, then make the films.

"We want to find the people who love what we're doing now and give them a reason to follow us into our feature films," says Allard. "Whether they eventually see them in theaters, purchase them online, or watch them on a streaming service, we want the audience to already know the kind of comedy they can expect from SUNNY SIDE COMEDY FUN."

SIX FILMS IN DEVELOPMENT

Four of the six films will be live-action SAG-approved ultra-low-budget comedy fantasies, budgeted at $250,000 each.

The films are designed to be produced efficiently: one location, a three-week shooting schedule, one to three principal actors and multiple day players. Two cameras will be used to capture performances at the speed comedy demands, while an experienced post-production team will have the opportunity to solve—and improve—story and performance issues in the edit.

The two animated features will use current video-manipulation and animation tools to produce 70-minute comedy fantasies while maintaining the project's ultra-low-budget philosophy.
